Europe is more than a collection of institutions and treaties. It is an unfinished conversation about power, freedom, responsibility, identity and coexistence. This Reading Room brings together books, essays, foundational texts, speeches, podcasts and archives that help explain how Europe was imagined, broken, rebuilt and repeatedly contested.

This is not an exhaustive bibliography or a fixed canon. It is a curated and evolving collection: a place to begin, to explore connections and to encounter perspectives that complicate familiar stories about Europe.
